The Liebster Award

The Liebster Award is an award given by bloggers to bloggers, and it helps new, smaller blogs to be discovered. By recognising the hard work and effort that bloggers put into their passion, it encourages them, keeps them motivated, and it surely makes them feel proud of their work. The name ‘Liebster’ which means dearest, sweetest, beloved kindness in German.

And so... I have shamelessly tagged myself from Celestreats blog (hehe heejins) and these are her questions:

* What are your future plans for your blog? *

mm, hopefully a little more active than a handful of posts each year. This blog had originally started out as 'Just Eat & Live Life' as I really wanted to be a food blogger, but I realised how much I was blogging about games over food which kind of contradicts the title, hence the change to 'Just Play and Live Life' - which is kind of my life motto right now. 

* Do you see yourself blogging in 15 years? *

In 15 years... I would be 40 (oh gawd, that's scary), but yes, I would think so. I first started blogging in 2006 about my personal life  - as my mum had a habit of breaking into physical book diaries 😅 - and it became something I am accustomed to do (blog) over the years. 

* Do you eat to live or live to eat? *

I live to eat (though my friend would disagree with me since I'm a fussy eater). Food has always been the one thing that I spend on with little considerations. 

* Coffee or tea? (or me?) *

Definitely you. 😍

* What is the first thing you want to do when you visit a foreign country? *

People watch. Being a tourist and living in a foreign country are two very different experiences (due to time constraints of course). I really enjoy watching people go on with their daily lives when I'm overseas, the way people talk to each other, their mannerisms and conversational topics... it's very interesting. 

* How many languages do you speak? *

Proficiently, two - English & Mandarin. Hopefully i'll be able to deem myself as proficient in Japanese in the near future... (currently a student at Tomo-Japanese Language School)

* Show us your favourite meme! *

"Just do it"... I think that was a meme (correct me if I'm wrong cause till date, I am not 100% sure what a meme is... #signsofgettingold) 

* Which social media platforms are you active on? *

* Which is the song you listen to for motivation? *

I never actually watched the movie, but I really like this song. This is the song I play when I feel really down or when I need a little push to try something new. 

* Name your favourite animal! *

This is actually difficult to answer. I don't really have an ultimate favorite animal? I just like cute animals in general... but if I have to pick one, I think I'll go with rabbits. 

* Who would you like to collaborate with (for your blog)? *

Celestreats when she comes to Singapore... or when I go KL... 😆
