Just felt the sudden motivation to do dailies today (have skipped it for months~) and thought let's try this out and see if I can unlock another 10th level and ... Kiineziz did~! . π
Halfway to max attainable stage but that's just pure madness. :)
Short note:
Dream Breaker is Lacheln's daily quest for dream coins which can be used to exchange for Lacheln Symbols (30 coins = 1 symbol). The amount of coins are given according to the stage that you have cleared.. Stage 30 = 30 coins, Stage 41 = 41 coins and so forth.
For every 10th stage cleared, the daily saves the stage and you'll be able to start from the saved stage the next time you do it. E.g. if you had cleared stage 30 on your 1st try, you'll be able to select stage 10, stage 20 or stage 30 to start from in your 2nd try onwards.
What are the chances... that the passcode would be 1-4-7. π
That used to be the 1st 3 digits I clicked on till I changed my method of finding the right passcode. =3=
2nd Place
So Detective Kemdi is one of the few "films" that you can play to earn popcorn coins in the current patch... & its highly dependent on the no. of people participating in the game (there have been too many times when one round finishes in 3-4 tries and I was nowhere near the correct passcode).
So depending on the 3 digits you key in, the system will prompt you with the number of O and △ that you got...
O represents having the right digit in the right position &
△ represents having the right digit in the wrong position
For instance, if you keyed in 1-2-3 and it prompts 1 △, it means that only one of the three digits is correct but in the wrong position. In this situation, I like to try the other numbers first (eg. 4-5-6 or 7-8-9 just to see roughly where the other 2 correct digits are)
Its been fun... I've never had the luck of being in the top three till today. LOL
My sister recently got this portable juice blender (charged via usb) from online (I think it was going on an offer for two), so she gave one of it to me. I remember watching videos of similar products and had my doubts on how it would work, so when I got this, I thought.. "since it's with me, why not?".
Product Review
First things first, the instruction manual... there are some parts of the manual that left me in question marks because it isn't very clear, but the gist of it should be well understood.
Product Summary
Full Manual
Before I started using the product, I had cleansed it by adding only water and starting the blades... and that cleansed quite well, but I was experiencing a bit of leakage from the bottom probably due to the way that the device itself is structured? If you had seen my video (at the start of the post), you would have had a look at the different parts of the entire blender.. and the container that holds the fruits and water/milk is actually just a tube (material: food grade PC) with both ends exposed. So that might have caused a bit of leakage which wasn't very pleasant.
In terms of blending, basically, you have to keep the size of fruits small, around 1.5 cm by 1.5 cm (mentioned in the manual). I tried blending carrots with oranges and apple... it was blending well in the video but on my 2nd try, it kept getting stuck (around the blades) and I wasn't able to start the device at all. [self confession: okay, I used a rough visual estimate so maybe I wasn't being very precised about it]. I think, it might have worked better without the carrots, though I wouldn't actually know. There were a lot of coarse residues, probably what the filter was for...but if I had the filter on, i'll be getting about 5% of what was actually blended.
My conclusion about this product? - the concept itself is pretty cool.. like my sister was telling me that she could bring fruits to work and blend it as and when (as long as its battery is charged), it is after all a portable blender. Well, the practically of that idea... honestly, I wouldn't like to risk it leaking all over the place. If i have to do it at the pantry, I'm sure there are power points that I can use a smaller version of an actual juicer or something that has better capabilities of blending?
It was a fun experiment with this product. Maybe I should give this another try with other types of fruits and I'll update if I have a change in my opinion. Till then... π

And so... I have shamelessly tagged myself from Celestreats blog (hehe heejins) and these are her questions: * What are your future plans for your blog? *
mm, hopefully a little more active than a handful of posts each year. This blog had originally started out as 'Just Eat & Live Life' as I really wanted to be a food blogger, but I realised how much I was blogging about games over food which kind of contradicts the title, hence the change to 'Just Play and Live Life' - which is kind of my life motto right now.
* Do you see yourself blogging in 15 years? *
In 15 years... I would be 40 (oh gawd, that's scary), but yes, I would think so. I first started blogging in 2006 about my personal life - as my mum had a habit of breaking into physical book diaries π - and it became something I am accustomed to do (blog) over the years.
* Do you eat to live or live to eat? *
I live to eat (though my friend would disagree with me since I'm a fussy eater). Food has always been the one thing that I spend on with little considerations.
* Coffee or tea? (or me?) *
Definitely you. π
* What is the first thing you want to do when you visit a foreign country? *
People watch. Being a tourist and living in a foreign country are two very different experiences (due to time constraints of course). I really enjoy watching people go on with their daily lives when I'm overseas, the way people talk to each other, their mannerisms and conversational topics... it's very interesting.
* How many languages do you speak? *
Proficiently, two - English & Mandarin. Hopefully i'll be able to deem myself as proficient in Japanese in the near future... (currently a student at Tomo-Japanese Language School)
* Show us your favourite meme! *
"Just do it"... I think that was a meme (correct me if I'm wrong cause till date, I am not 100% sure what a meme is... #signsofgettingold)
* Which social media platforms are you active on? *
Facebook, Instagram & Twitter
I have a YouTube channel for this blog which I use to post videos for my posts here
* Which is the song you listen to for motivation? *
I never actually watched the movie, but I really like this song. This is the song I play when I feel really down or when I need a little push to try something new.
* Name your favourite animal! *
This is actually difficult to answer. I don't really have an ultimate favorite animal? I just like cute animals in general... but if I have to pick one, I think I'll go with rabbits.
* Who would you like to collaborate with (for your blog)? *
Celestreats when she comes to Singapore... or when I go KL... π

Coming up with questions took longer than answering them... π
I've been on 'Idle Poring' for a while now.. (since mid-oct 2017) and I've been wanting to blog about it but have never found the time to π. It is by far, one of my favourite mobile games... and I'm still learning and exploring despite 5 whole months into it. - Its a great travelling-to-work kind of game.
Daily sign-in reward calendar.. (love how they have little bookmarks on days of accomplishments)
When I first started, I was so in awe because of the ability to gain exp & zeny/gold (a.k.a in-game money) even when you're not in the game π. Of course, being too inactive means progressing at a much slower pace since there are certain checkpoints and tasks to be completed to grow the character's power and abilities. The amount of exp and zeny earned per minute are progressively higher as you clear maps so that is one factor in game progression as well.
Character selection screen & City screen
There are currently three job classes that you can pick: Warrior, Bowman or Mage. Hearsay, there is going to be an upcoming Thief class as well. Essentially, it doesn't really matter which job class you pick since the skills are the pretty much the same (just named differently).
Generally, the community is pretty supportive and helpful when you're stuck in-game and require some tips on the pets/skills to use when trying to clear maps or MVP/PVP battles.. (naturally though, there are trolls around so always hear from a few people from different channels if you want to be sure, or be like me & just read through the conversations of others and still pick up a tip or two π)
Pro-tip for beginners: Follow 6 people (regardless at random, or picked from the crowd, or your own friends) & pat them daily for honor points [free honor points, why not?] .
- Honor points are crucial in unlocking essential skills for your character.
- Available pats per day: 6
Simply click on players & follow them and they will be in your buddy list to 'pat' or find your friends by manually adding them through their IGN
Quick run-through on the city tab:
Store - this is where u get your daily freebies such as pet shards, explore/combat potions, etc.. (just be careful not to hit the 880 gems bundle or you might see your diamonds (in-game cash $$) fly away.
It is also the place to purchase diamonds (using real money), costumes or convert diamonds into in-game zeny...
Market - buying items (such as pet shards, explore/combat potions, candies, equipment, etc) using zeny/diamonds
Smith - where you can smith hunted equipment for forge points to forge better equipment for your character
Friend - your buddy list / patting for honor points
Explore - sending your pets on exploration tasks for pet exp and possibility to gain items
Guild - there's a War of Emporium (WoE) every week that guilds can participate in for members to gain honor points/items/zeny/diamonds
PVP - battling against other players around your power and gain honor points, zeny/diamonds
MVP - battling against bosses to gain artifacts to boost your power and for enhancement items to advance character levels
Battle Team - clear maps to gain points for your team for the duration of 6 days and earn a variety of items for the game.. there's a possibility to get costume coins as well
I have heard mixed reviews on this game.. (probably not as idle since there are many things to work on such as getting pet shards to unlock pets, earning honor points to unlock skills...) and it gets more complicated with the rebirths. Some said it got boring after a while.. and then there's me, still pretty amazed with the game at rebirth 2. π
And so... I was on leave today, wondering what I should do with my one-day freedom from work.
Kinda forced myself to head out in the late afternoon but was pretty much a lost potato till... I saw KFC's Zinger MOZZ and it all clicked (felt like my leave actually had a purpose rather than just rotting it away at home). π
Zinger Mozz Burger Meal for SGD $8.80 (the cheese fries was an add-on at $2.50)
Just look at it... π
It was a really satisfying meal... had moments of "ooh, pizza" probably due to its tomato base and MOZZARELLA CHEESE PATTY right there. Its a subtle addition in terms of texture and taste to the zinger burger as a whole. In my opinion, it was a pretty good complement. π
Edit (21/3/2018): took me days to realise I spelt complement as compliment. π
FISH. &. FRIES. I finally got to try them today! π
FISH & FRIES... (& Chocolate Pie)
With Tar-Tar sauce~~~ Fries (s) were packed separately.
I really liked the fish... crisp & rather light. Nothing to say about the fries.. its the usual Macs fries in small size.
Chocolate Pie (used the knife that had a bit of tar-tar sauce. my apologies)
A closer shot of the Fish & Choco Pie
Chocolate Pie was surprisingly.. not too jelat.
Being a Macs Apple Pie fan, this is the 1st I've tried of many other variations that Macs have come up with... Personal preference still stays (apple pie ftw), but according to my mum: "its nice". π
Price point... well, its served with small fries. π since when set meals came with small fries (lets not talk about the kids happy meal, i'm talking about the main sets here). I'd added other additional sides & a change in the drink in my order so I cant actually say how much the original set cost, but it was around 9 bucks for the Fish & Fries special (which is basically the Fish & fries (s) + Chocolate Pie + a Drink). I'm not sure about the mass majority, but I personally felt, that it was a little pricey.
