Its been a while... 😅 #life

There was so much that I wanted to blog about but I haven't found time to do so such as my post-trip thoughts on Korea, my Korea beauty loots, new Idle Poring achievements, new apps that I was trying out. (p.s.*luggage still sitting in my room* ↤ high chance that it'll continue sitting there till my next trip.)

Since my Korea trip, I've been living my life being a mapletard... even more so since 26th July (Maplestory M launched on July 25th, but I couldn't get into the server till the next day, so...😅)

Mapleverse Patch - Maple Achievements

I'm finally all done with the two seasons of Mapleverse! I just got my 'Little Maple Planet Chair' that I had patiently waited 13 days for... (season 2 completion award)~!😅 

*its actually an animated chair...*

This patch was pretty good with new minigames that I haven't seen in-game before (loved the maplecart/rail minigame..). I actually took a video of it but I need to curate that to fit the file size restrictions here. 😎

p.s. *been facing problems with my Nvidia ShadowPlay... T^T gotta fix that before I can do my Esfera prequest as well..*

Day 8: Last minute shopping & Home-bound

14 June 2018, Thursday

All packed and checked-out... we headed to Lotte's Departmental store for lunch (we were actually there for breakfast as well, but we went back to the hotel to do the necessary admin and baggage arrangement - since our flight was at 11.20 pm - before heading back again to look for le dad).

Kimbap~ wonder if it was just me, but I didn't actually see many places selling these. 😞

Lotte's Departmental store is pretty much like our Takashimaya... went to the duty free levels & they actually asked us to apply for a VIP card so we get some % discount off the bill (I think it was 10%).

The skincare/makeup section were, if not all, priced in USD. 

Sis & I made a quick detour to Seoul Station to grab these babies from Dunkin Donuts... (all these bottled drinks with collectible lego heads 😍 we actually bought a total of 14 of these bottles. LOL)

We were pretty much lazing around, waiting for our pick-up driver to the airport (just sitting at our hotel's lobby and waiting for time to pass 😅).

Day 7: Shopping Day II

13 June 2018, Wednesday

Our last full day in Seoul, & it was finally time to fill that half-filled luggage of mine that I brought for the trip (brought just shorts & a handful of t-shirts 😆).

Le dad decided we should go Dongdaemun and check out whats there (instead of the more known Namdaemun).. 

Walked out of the metro's entrance and it just felt like we were completely... at the wrong place (to do shopping). The street was filled with people pushing their carts around loading fabrics and textile goods. 😅 Within minutes, we found ourselves walking back to the station and leaving for Ewha's University instead.

While the parents parked themselves at the cafe, sis & I started our hour-long shopping. There's like 3 main streets, one for food, one for apparels and one for skincare/makeup. I picked up a couple of items and we actually found the same pants we saw at Hongdae the previous day... which was great because we had originally intended to go back to Hongdae for it (but since we found it at Ewha's University, we didn't have to make the trip back there 😎).

Its definitely a place I would head back to if I ever find myself in Korea again. One-stop shopping~

Prior to my trip, my colleagues had raved to me about this chicken place that I must go to if I were in Myeongdong... BHC Chicken endorsed by actress Jun Ji-Hyun (acted in "my love from another star").
Pro Tip #1: don't order too much... 

With an order of a plate of boneless sprinkle chicken & sweet garlic soy sauce chicken, fish cake soup, fries & 2 cokes, it was simply too much for four. LOL. I have no idea what made us feel like we could actually finish that.

The boneless sprinkle chicken was one of the more uniquely seasoned flavour... It was definitely not something I have seen in SG, though it would be great if we didn't over-order as it gets a little overpowering (imo) after each piece.

He's everywhere 😍
