MaplestorySEA - Discovery Ocean

The Ark game patch had been out for about 2 weeks now (since 16 May)... & I've been busy collecting Ark Coins to get whatever I can from the Ark Coin Shop! 😎 - there are chairs, mounts, damage skins, symbols, chaos ring, etc... etc... 

Apart from the daily farming of 200 ark coins (400 coins on Sundays)... there is this one other event that have been zapping much time from me.. and that is the Discovery Ocean event - which is part of the Maple Discovery event.  

There are 5 areas to be explored, each with varying fishing level requirements for entry. To complete this particular event (for a golden shark mount), a total of 80 million fishing points is required.

Digital Perm?!?!

25 years on this planet and for the first time, I decided to try perming my hair. 😐
(I'm still... sitting on the fence about whether I'm regretting my decision, hahhahah)

The whole process from washing ↦ cutting ↦ treatment ↦ washing ↦ chemical ↦ washing ↦ perming ↦ neutralizer ↦ washing ↦ blow drying took about 4 hours. (I'm pretty sure I walked up and down that washing bay more than 4 times though, might have missed a step in between)

I believe perming is something that would probably look better with diligent people. 😅 Protecting your curls, blow-drying for more prominence & styling... this takes effort and patience (which I don't really have).

Since I don't have the habit of washing my hair in the mornings either, it's going to go up in a ponytail most of the time. 😂

I don't really know what went through my head when the appointment switched from a regular haircut to a perm. Life's been boring and I knew I wanted a change, but I didn't really wanna dye my hair (I like my natural colour) nor cut it short. hahah. 

Well, it did accomplish one thing though ↦ fulfilling my curiosity about a perm. 😅

Idle Poring - Map 800

MAP 800!!! 😎 (okay... most people probably do this only when they had completed map 830, but...)

For the past couple of weeks, I had been struggling with the dilemma of whether to rebirth my character or to persist in my goal of reaching map 830 (the last map in the game). I was feeling really bad for being stuck at map 76x (for weeks) and having little to no contribution to my Battle Team. 

Today, I finally got my hands on "cure II" and it has been game-changing. There's no doubt now... I'm going for Map 830. 30 (or 31?)  more maps!

No words for my Battle Team.. They are all really really nice. 

Character, Pet Skills & Runes used...

In RB 2, pets are so important. Without the right investment in pets and their skills, its almost impossible to get to the end. I have seen so many buddies quit the game at RB2... some told me it gets really boring (probably due to the amount of time needed to level each pet up.)

Me, on the other hand, I'm really enjoying the game. This is hands down, the best idle mobile game I have ever played. For F2P (free-to-play)... its good if you are patient enough to build up your pets over time. 😇

MaplestorySEA - Pink Bean's Rolling House!

It's finally here... Pink Bean's Rolling House Event. 🙌

Nothing entices me more than collectible chairs \(^🔽^)/  Been waiting a whole month for this. 

*Actually, I didn't know what the event was initally, but I knew it was pink bean-related so was kind of excited for it anyway... :)*

Event Period: 2 May 2018 (after maintenance) - 23:59 on 15 May 2018 (Tuesday)

For the chair to be permanent, you have to level it up to at least Level 6 & accept a quest called "Sweet Old Rolling House". 

The event is fairly easy to do... Simply hunt monsters within -/+ 20 levels of your level and collect etc item called "Pink Bean's Humming". Upon completion, a use coupon of 20 Ark Coins will be rewarded.

To decorate the house, however, requires a decoration-use item which is dropped at *random:

(from bossing, theme dungeons, monster/ghost park, dimension invasion, elite monsters/boss, bounty/fw portals, harvesting to hunting monsters)

Every category has a PB house level requirement, so you'll have to level the house first before you can use the items
